A Mass of Christian burial for EMMA L. PRODEY, retired head of the guidance department at Northern High School, will be offered at 9 a.m. today at St. Ursula's Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Prodey, who was 71, and lived in Parkville, died Monday at St. Joseph Hospital after a stroke.

She retired about 10 years ago after a teaching career of nearly 20 years, From 1940 until 1959 she was a clerk for the B&O Railroad. Born in Baltimore, the former Emma L. O'Connor was a graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame and had received bcherlor's and master's degrees from Loyola College.
