WILLIAM S. HENRY died at his home in Hanover Junction suddenly Feb. 13th, after a short illness. He was quite active for his advanced age and his sudden death came as a shock to all.

He was 79 years, 1 month, 12 days old. Mr. Henry for many years was a merchant and also served as postmaster at Hanover Junction. He was a life-long member of Zion Church.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ritter Henry, a son, Edward Henry, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Ida Bell Freeman Henry, an infant daughter Mary Valeria, and a son Leonard F. Henry Sr.

The funeral was held in the Goodling Funeral Home, Seven Valleys, Pa., Feb. 16th. Rev. Norman Ort of York assisted. Burial was in Zion (Shaffer's) Cemetery.
