Norman "Rusty" Bailey, 51 of Rushville, passed away on August 17, 2022 in Rushville. He was born on September 2, 1970 in Rushville to the late Joseph and Wilmetta Jean (Browning) Bailey.
Rusty was a 1990 graduate of Rushville High School. He was a member of Rushville Baptist Temple. Rusty enjoyed watching IU basketball and the Indianapolis Colts.
Rusty is survived by his son, Aaron Bailey of Columbus; brothers, Mike (Heather) Bailey of Rushville and Mark Myers of Rushville; sister, Linda Meyers of Henderson; 2 grandchildren, River and Cameron Bailey. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, Jamie Siegrist, Hope Bailey, Justin Bailey, Heidi Bailey, Ryan Bailey, Katie Bailey, Kasey Gosser, Marla Vandiver, Benita Myers, Trevor McDonald and Tyler McDonald, Matthew Stewart; several great nieces and nephews.
Rusty is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Kay Thompson and brother, William Bailey; niece, Londi Connolly.
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 1 PM in Rushville Baptist Temple, with Pastor Jonathan Redd presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until the time of service in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Rushville Baptist Church. Moster Mortuary is entrusted to the arrangements.
