Lupe S. Bustos, age 83, of Las Cruces passed from this life on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 4, 1933 in Cebolla, NM to Rogelio and Alejandrina Martinez Sanchez. Mrs. Bustos retired as an LPN and was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Those left to mourn her passing include her loving husband, Orlando Bustos of the family home; three sons, Jerome, Richard and Donald Bustos (Angie); a daughter, Sandy Bustos all of Las Cruces; two brothers, Roy Sanchez (Carmen) of Albuquerque, Desiderio Sanchez (Joyce) of Cebolla, NM; five sisters, Emma Lopez Maez of Espanola, NM, Lydia Carbajal of Los Chavez, NM, Willie Nelson of Kaysville, UT, Nelda Cordova of Ensenada, NM and Joyce Langhorst of Santa Fe, NM. Other survivors include three grandchildren; one great- grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Bennie Archuleta; three brothers, Joe Lovato, Zacarias Sanchez and Raymond Sanchez.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 7 PM in Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road with Deacon Lonnie Briseño officiating. Inurnment of Cremains will be held at a later date.
