Nathan Erle Crosby died July 25, 2017.

He was born in Oriska , ND on September 23, 1922.

His parents were Dr. Erle Crosby and Kate Kretchmer Crosby. He lived his formative years in Valley City, ND , graduating from NDSU and then enlisting in the Army Airforce.

He married Mary Clemens, daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth Clemens on June 9, 1951 at St. Mary's Cathedral, Fargo, ND.

They spent most of their married life in Valley City.

Nathan was an accountant with the city and later Vice President of Business Affairs at Valley City State University.

Their children are: John, Paul (Dagmar), Mary Jane Pacioni (Ron), Patricia Zahn (Doug), Kay Johnson (Paul) , Lucy Wiedrich (Keith).

They have 6 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
After retirement Nathan and Mary spent time at their lake cottage and Florida home.
