James Douglas Hodge, age 48, of London, Kentucky passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 16 years, Susan Stratton Hodge; two sons, Tayden Douglas Hodge, Tristan Garrett Hodge all of London, KY; father, Rick Hodge of Cross Roads, TX, mother, Kaye Milton Hodge Layne of Wytheville, VA; two siblings, Samantha Hodge Dickeson & husband Landon of Aubrey, TX, Chris Thomas of Burleson, TX, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willis "DeDaddy" & Catherine "MeMama" Carson Milton.
James was a self-employed lawyer at the Hodge Law Firm for over 15 years. He was a devoted, loving husband and father. He served his community as an attorney and would help anyone that asked. He loved to travel and especially scuba dive. His children remember him as a good, honest, God-fearing man.
Funeral services for James Douglas Hodge will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Bart Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Pallbearers include: Chris Gayhart, Jerry Loughan, Coleman Savage, Chad Epperson, Austin Epperson, and Eric Edwards.
