Agnes M. Emigh, age 66 of Morrisdale, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at UPMC Altoona.
Born September 11, 1955 in Houtzdale, she was the daughter of the late Andrew, Sr. and Cecilia (Volk) Murarik.
On November 25, 1972 at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Houtzdale she wed the love of her life, Gerald S. Emigh, who survives in Morrisdale.
Also surviving are her children, Gregory Emigh, Morrisdale; Amanda Magera, Southgate, KY; a granddaughter, Drew Peters, Shiloh; a great-granddaughter, RaeLynn; her siblings, Andrew Murarik, Jr. and wife Judy, Houtzdale; Pauline Hampton, Sanborn; Martin Murarik and wife Rose, Chester Hill; Marion Davis, Morrisdale; Anthony Murarik and wife Cindy, Philipsburg; Cecilia Burns and husband James, Sandy Ridge; and a sister-in-law, Cathy Murarik, Sanborn.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Murarik; infant sister, Elizabeth Ann Murarik, brother-in-law's, Denver Hampton, Sr. and Joseph Davis.
Agnes was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Morrisdale. She loved her family dearly. She also loved to cook, flowers, watch her soap operas, talking to her family and friends on Facebook.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 1-2:15 pm at Strange and Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel immediately following the viewing on Monday, at 2:30 pm with Father William Barron officiating.
She will be laid to rest in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Morrisdale.
