Phyllis N. Yoder, 87, of Nescopeck passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022, at her home.
Born in Freeland on September 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Rufus D. and Mary A. (Snook) Lingle.
She was educated in the one-room schoolhouse in Zenith.
Phyllis was a dedicated wife and mother who worked hard to provide a loving home for her family.
Phyllis was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Zenith.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting in her free time. Phyllis was also a collector of teddy bears.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Charles H. Yoder, in 2001; son-in-law Joseph; and brother Rufus "Sonny" Lingle.
A private funeral service will be held at Heller Funeral Home LLC, Nescopeck. Burial will take place next to her husband in St. James Cemetery, Zenith.
