Dunn, NC: Mrs. Elameta Adams Barefoot Norris, age 89, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC, surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Monday, August 15, 2022 at Stones Creek Advent Christian Church 343 Woods Crossroads Road, Benson, NC 27504. Rev. Scott Johnson and Rev. Doug Abel will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Norris was born on January 30, 1933 in Johnston County, NC to the late Condary and Myrtle Raynor Adams. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Vinson Barefoot, and Donald Wayne Norris, children, James Waylon Barefoot, Deborah Barefoot Bain, and Johnny Dale Barefoot, sister, Verneta Johnson and brothers, J.C. Adams, Earl Adams, Carroll Adams, and Otis Adams.

Mrs. Norris was a retired factory worker, working with the Jerald Corporation, Sylvania, and Chicopee. She loved to quilt, cook, work in her yard with her flowers, and spend time with her family. Mrs. Norris was a member of Stones Creek Advent Christian Church, and was loved by her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Barefoot; grandchildren, Michelle Corbett and husband, Scott, Waylon Dale Barefoot and wife, Courtney, and Julie Barefoot; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Corbett and wife, McKenna, Nathan Corbett, Ethan Corbett, Garrett Barefoot, and Graycen Barefoot; great-great-granddaughter, Laney Corbett; sisters, Josephine Jones, Maverine Jernigan, and Normalene Stevens; step-children, Roger Norris and wife, Robin, and Karen Womack; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM, Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC, and other times at the home of Phyllis Barefoot in Benson, NC 27504.
