WILSON -- Services for Jackie Linda Goff, 61, longtime Wilson resident, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kay Buchanan officiating. Interment will be at Hewitt Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.

Mrs. Goff was born Sept. 22, 1939, at Callisburg, Texas, to Monroe and Ethel Pilcher Baker. She died Nov. 26, 2000, in Ardmore.

Jackie was born on a farm outside Callisberg, Texas, to Monroe and Ethel Pilcher Baker and moved with her family to Gainesville, Texas, in 1942. They lived there until September of 1948, when they moved to Wilson. She graduated from Wilson High School in 1957, attended Cooke County College in Gainesville, and later moved to the Richardson, Texas area. She returned to Wilson with her three children in September of 1973. Jackie worked as a waitress for many years at Ponder's Restaurant in Ardmore and Taylor's Cafe in Wilson. The past several years she had worked in the home health field as an aide. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wilson.

Survivors include sons, Sam Goff, of the home in Wilson, and Kenny Goff and wife, Rosie, of Sulphur; a daughter, April Claxton and husband, Brett, of Wilson; brothers, Noble Wiltshire and wife, Pam, of Andrews, Texas, Gene Baker and wife, Patricia, of Port Orchard, Wash., Gerald Baker and wife, Becky, of Lone Grove; granddaughters, Misty Moore and husband, Keith, of Elmore City, Amanda Goff of Elmore City, Jera Goff of New Albany, Ind., Madison Claxton of Wilson, Christy Harper of Sulphur, and Nicole Goff of Wilson; grandsons, Derek Goff of Wilson, and Cody Harper of Sulphur; great-grandson, Blayne Moore of Elmore City; another great-grandson is due in January; other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Andy; and granddaughter, Christie.

Bearers will be Gary Claxton, Wayne Baker, Jerry Dodd, Jody Rich, Cory Harper and Curtis Ramsey.
