Cecil Richardson, 88, of Lubbock, Texas passed away August 5, 2022.
Cecil was born January 5, 1934 in Crosby County, TX to Virgil and Elvie Richardson. He graduated from Ralls High School in 1951. He married Patsy Dawn McCoy on November 18, 1978. Cecil was salesman and farmed in Hale County. He was a longtime member and deacon at Lubbock Primitive Baptist Church.
Loved ones include son, Bryan Richardson; daughter, Jana Chappell and husband, John; sister, Willie Lampp; sister Nancy Phillips; brother Elton Richardson and his wife, Kaye; step-daughter, Cecelia McCamish and husband, Boyd; step-son, Dwight and wife, Laura; step-son, Michael Hardin and wife, Deedee; 5 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Richardson; his parents, Virgil and Elvie Richardson; sisters, Opal Anderson and Eula Upham.
Memorials are suggested to Lubbock Primitive Baptist Church.
A celebration of his life will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2022 at the Crosbyton Cemetery with Dale Turner officiating.
