Edith Whitehead Birmingham was born in Ishmael on September 11, 1930 a daughter to Richard and Bertha (nee Johnson) Beers. She died at her De Soto home on August 14, 2022 at the age of 91. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen (Dennis) Weinrich, De Soto; two grandchildren: Michael (Beckie) Weinrich, Moline, Il and Rebecca (Ben) Montgomery, Nixa; four great grandchildren: Claire Weinrich, Emma Weinrich, Drake Montgomery and Justin Montgomery and several nieces and nephews. Edith is preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters: Mildred Wilker, Arthur Beers, Albert Beers, Don Beers, Elmer Beers, Everett Beers, Nellie McClain, Effie Hutching, Pearl Coplin and Lottie Logsdon. Edith had retired from White-Rodgers where she had worked as a brazier/welder.

Visitation: Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home
Service: Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 1:00 pm from the Dietrich-Mothershead Chapel officiated by Pastor Phil Wallace
