Mr. William Henry "Bill" Briggeman, 95, of Broken Arrow passed away Monday morning in Broken Arrow. He was born in Iuka, Kansas on Friday, March 11, 1927, to Charles and Anna (Luders) Briggeman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet; brothers, Raymond, Lawrence, and Carl; as well as his parents.
Bill was a veteran of both the US Army and Navy and served honorably during both WWII and Korea. He loved everything about the oil and gas industry. He held several patents in the oil and gas field that helped streamline production. He loved hunting pheasants and doves, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He loved watching his kids and grandkids compete in sports. He could often be found watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, Texas Rangers, and St. Louis Cardinals. His love for the Chiefs took him to Super Bowl 1 where he saw them compete against the Green Bay Packers.
Those left to cherish his memory are:
Sons Andrew Briggeman and wife Melissa of Tulsa
Bill Briggeman II and wife Laura of Broken Arrow
Grandchildren Braelee, William III "Trey", Colin, Launa, Andrew II "Drew", Asher
Sister-In-Law Geneva Briggeman.
The family has asked memorial contributions be made to Clarehouse at clarehouse.org/donate.
