Mrs. Ruby Lucille Youngblood, 73, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville. A Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Clark funeral Home with Rev. Blake Westbrook officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Youngblood was a native of Hawkinsville, Georgia and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed her family and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Alma Scarborough Shelton and her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Youngblood Sr.
Survivors include her son, Ken (Carmen) Youngblood of Cochran, Ga.; daughters, Kina (Craig) McBride of North Augusta, South Carolina and Lorie (Robert) Goff of Leesburg, Ga.; brother, Edwin (Shirley) Shelton of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sisters, Edith Castleberry of Hawkinsville, Ga., Lillian Snyder of Eutawville, South Carolina and Louise Shelton of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and her special dog, Harley.
