Lannie was a hard worker and always provided for his family. He would do anything in his power to help anyone in need. Lannie could be stubborn, but he was honest, and you never had to guess where you stood with him. He enjoyed bowling and golf, and he bowled in several leagues over the years. He also enjoyed sketching. Lannie was a talented woodworker and loved creating cabinets and other projects out of wood. He was, for a time, a woodcraftsman at Tinker Air Force Base. He was ornery, and he enjoyed a good joke and absolutely loved kidding people. He was a huge fan of the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and he was sure to instill it in all his children and grandchildren.
He liked to watch MASH and Star Trek, and he loved the old westerns, especially Gunsmoke.
Lannie's granddaughter said that her grandfather had a very kind, loving, and giving heart. Lannie's soul was dedicated to his Lord and Savior and his heart to his family, with whom he loved spending time. He loved being outdoors, and some of the best times of his life were taking the family out to Lake Thunderbird to go camping. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Lannie touched the hearts of many, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
