Dorothy May Stratman, 95, long-time resident of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Thurs., July 28, 2022. She was born May 13, 1927, in Concordia, KS., to Desire Toby Vignery and Ethel McCall Vignery.
Mrs. Stratman enjoyed traveling to Omaha to watch the horse races, camping, fishing, and riding in the pontoon boat with her husband. During retirement in Bella Vista, Ark., she enjoyed watching the bluebirds and squirrels that came to the feeders, and knitting, quilting, and playing cards with friends.
Mrs. Stratman was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband Aaron in 2020. Survivors include sons Michael Marcotte of Schererville, Ind., and Robert Marcotte (Catherine) of Rochester, NY., and numerous family and friends.
Interment will be in Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Higginsville, MO., with her husband. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home, 1401 W. Hudson Rd., Rogers, Ark. Www.RollinsFuneral.com.
