Louis C. Pichauffe Sr., 88, a native of Grand Caillou and resident of Houma, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002.
Visitation was at Samart Funeral Home and at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Houma. Mass was at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie Babin Pichauffe of Houma; one son, Louis C. Pichauffe Jr. of California; one daughter, Marion Malbrough; one brother, Marceline Pichauffe of Houma; three sisters, Marie P. Dugas of Dularge, Adenise P. Dugas and Eva P. Kreamer, both of Houma; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Eva Boudoin Pichauffe; one son, Charles Pichauffe; two brothers, Paul and Joseph Pichauffe; and two sisters, Marie P. Juisti and Louise Pichauffe.
He was retired from the Terrebonne Parish School Board after 15 years.
He was Catholic.
