VETERAN

Dr. Thomas E. Corkish was born June 1, 1934, in Bisbee, Arizona, to Lillian Pearl (Snell) Corkish and William Thomas Corkish. He moved to Denver, Colorado, at the age of ten. He met his wife, Eberle A. (Phillipus) Corkish, they were married in 1954. He was in the United States Army and as a married couple they moved to Rothbury, Michigan. This is where their son, Ronald A. Corkish, was born.

After an honorable discharge from the United States Army, Dr. Corkish enrolled in Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. It was in Chicago that their daughter, Deborah L. Corkish, was born.

Upon his graduation, Dr. Corkish ministered in several Baptist churches in Michigan, Illinois, Colorado, and has spent the past 46 years ministering in the Salt Lake City area. He and his wife have traveled to visit with many pastors in the United States and with missionaries on foreign soil.
