Charles J Flinn committed suicide and shot himself twice. His wife was sick and he was facing financial problems. The newspaper article states that he was buried in Virginia City in the cemetery on the hill in an unmarked grave.

Parents: Charles B Flinn (1827-1915) and Ann Margaret Keegan (1837-1891)

He married Elizabeth "Lizzie" McGinley (1863-1889) in 1887 and they had one daughter Jessamine Agnes Flinn (1888-1974)

He married Laura Eugene Bryant (1879-1961) in 1900. In 1901 Laura asked to be separated and Charles committed suicide shortly after at Laura's father's ranch.
