Arthur Shannon Moody, 81, of Arlington, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at Capital Hospice in Arlington.
Mr. Moody was born April 28, 1926, in Virginia, and was the son of the late Herman Berlin Moody and Ina Bell Gary Moody.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
His wife, Alease Virginia Moody, preceded him in death Sept. 18, 2007. They were married May 27, 1953.
He is survived by a niece.
The Rev. Charles R. Turner will conduct a graveside service 2 p.m. Monday at Leake's Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
