The Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department announces the passing of Supply Division Receiving Clerk, Frank H. Vivyan. Frank was in the hospital the past couple of months and died of complications due to several serious medical conditions. Frank worked for the Department for over 47 years. He will be missed.

Civilian Receiving Clerk Frank H. Vivyan, DSN 7125, started his career with the SLMPD as a Stock Handler with the Supply Division on 11/04/1968. On 05/07/1992 he made a inner department transition to the position of Receiving Clerk. He held that position until his passing. During his long career of 47.99 years of faithful and dedicated service he attained Employee of the Year on 12/31/1991, and Employee of the month on 07/12/2012.

Mr. Frank H. Vivyan was a veteran of the United States Navy and served from 02/01/1964 to 01/01/1970 in the Navy Reserves. He achieved the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class.
