She graduated from Delta State University in Benoit, MS, with a B.S. in Elementary Education. After her marriage to Roger in Atlanta, she lived the better part of two decades in Benoit, where she was a fifth-grade teacher at Bayou Academy in Skene, MS for five of those years. She and Roger moved to Zimbabwe for mission work. For two years, she taught high school and led Bible studies. Their mission work continued when they moved to Rock River, WY, serving with the Pioneer Mission for 10 years.She lived for about 25 years in Estill, SC, and served at Lighthouse Church in Hampton County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theron and Lena Poe; husband, Roger Bostick; and son-in-law, Bill Winders. Surviving are her daughters, Terri Bostick of Reno, NV, and Leigh (Will) Womble of Woodstock, GA; grandsons, Wesley (Jessie) Womble of Galloway, NJ, and Barry (Savannah) Womble of Ruffin, SC; and three great-grandchildren.
