Sharon Gay Jentsch, age 61, of Archer City, Texas passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, in a Wichita Falls hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Aulds Funeral Home with Roger Deerinwater of Archer City officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.
Sharon was born November 19, 1960 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Herman Max Jentsch, Jr. and Dolores Fern Jones.
She graduated from Archer City High School in 1979. Sharon moved to Garland for a few years and then returned to Archer City. While living in Archer City, she had been employed by Berend Brothers, Oodles, Windthorst Fine Meats, Burkett Pens and Archer Feed.
Sharon's favorite pastime was sewing, puzzles and traveling. However, her greatest passion was animals and their care. Sharon believed in John 3:16.
Survivors include son, Emery Ray Sanders and wife, Holly of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Amanda Reeve and husband, Christopher of Archer City; sister, Debbie O'Daniel of Plano; five grandchildren, Jeffery, Zane, Enya, Elyse and Leighton; two nieces, Courtney and Crystal and nephew, Clinton.
She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, James O'Daniel.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Archer City Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 367, Archer City, Texas 76351 or the Archer Public Library, P.O. Box 1574, Archer City, Texas 76351.
