Quoetone was born near Jimmy Creek at Meers and attended Rainy Mountain School near Mountain View. He was married to Mabel Longhorn in 1913. She preceded him in death in 1965.
He resided in Lawton until 1945, when he moved to the Mountain View community.
His children-Harley of San Jose, CA; Jack of Carnegie; Blossom Koon of the home; Nona Koppessah and Rita Gaddy, both of Lawton;
Siblings-Fred of Claremore, Bill of Cache and Guy of Lawton; Maggie Toyebo of Mountain View; Gina Ware of Anadarko; Lily Nahwoosky of Walters; Sara Quoetone and Carrie Sahmount, both of Lawton.
