Survived by his wife Gayle of fifty-eight years of York, sons; David and his wife Debra of Muskogee, OK, Dan E. and his wife Jean of Lincoln, NE and his daughter Susan K. and her husband Ron Freitag of Flagstaff, AZ. Four grandchildren Aaron Jones and Alex Jones of Lincoln and Kelcie Marie Freitag and Andrew Kai Freitag both of Flagstaff, AZ. Also surviving are several nephews including Bill Bissell of Denver, CO, Richard Jones of Colorado and Robert Jones of David City, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Albert and Donald and a sister Barbara Bissell.
