Virginia E. Sadler, 90, a long time Rush County area resident, passed away March 14, 2022 in Rushville. Virginia was born November 4, 1931 in Dublin, GA to James O. & Annie Mae (Stuckey) Stonecypher. She was a 1948 graduate of McDonough High School in McDonough, GA. She married Clifton "Tip" Sadler in 1952 and they moved to Rushville in 1953 and had four sons.
She worked as a bookkeeper/secretary for 20+ years at Fraley Truck and Implement Sales in Rushville, retiring in 1996. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Rushville for many years.
Surviving are her 4 sons; Wendell C. & Grace Sadler of Bluff Dale, TX, Timothy A. & Teresa Sadler of Rushville, L. Kent Sadler of Raleigh and Eric Neil & Jennifer Sadler of Morton, IL, 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; James & Thomas Stonecypher and sisters; Loreta Shaw & Lutrell Whitmire.
Services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, March 17, 2022 in Moster Mortuary with Pastor John Wall presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until time of service on Thursday. Burial will be in the Raleigh Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Rushville.
