Linda D. Wiles, age 56 of Canton passed away early Thursday morning at home with her loving family around her following a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Canton, OH, on March 25, 1950 to the late Richard and Ilene (Wallace) Palm. Linda was a talented artist, she had received an art scholarship from McKinley High School and attended Carnegie Mellon Art Institute. Linda was a bargain hunter, she would stop for any thrift stores or garage sale to find her treasured bargains. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Palm, a nephew, Joe Gentry. Survivors include her loving husband, Jeff Wiles of the home, two sons, Hansel and his fiancee, Angela Warren, Dane, all of Canton; four grandchildren, Megan, Faith, Courtney, and Haley; six siblings, Gaye (Ron) Braham, Mark (Michelle) Palm, Lou Palm, Toni (Richard) Crowe, Rick Palm, Mike Palm and Frank; mother-in-law, Josephine Wiles, two brothers- in-law, Rick (Suzanne) Wiles, Steve (Lynn) Wiles, many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Linda loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she was kind and tender-hearted. Linda will always be cherished by her family, and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 3 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home-Canton Chapel with Rev. Delaney Young officiating.
