Thomas Baker, son of Richard Lovehue and Emily Cain Baker, was born on October 3, 1868, in Gravity, Iowa. He married Daisy Lois Abbey on February 27, 1889, in Corning, Iowa. They had at least one three during their marriage. They farmed their own land in Oklahoma for over ten years before emigrating to Boulder, Colorado some time before 1920, where he worked in a broom factory, and to San Bernadino County, California some time in the 1930s, where he worked as a salesman. He died on March 18, 1957, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 88, and is buried beside his wife in Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, California.
