Cathleen Taylor Turner, age 72, of Alma passed away July 28, 2022 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Ware County on January 26, 1950 to Issac Foster Taylor and Maude King Taylor. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lewis Taylor, Allen Taylor, Ikey Taylor and Bobby Crews and two sisters, Eddie Corbitt and Annie Gilliard.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Roe Eldon Turner, Sr.; son, Roe Eldon Turner, Jr.; brothers, Raymond (Cecil) King, Danny Taylor and Joseph (Linnie Mae); sister, Irene (Tony) Hutcheson; also 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held, Monday August 1st at 11 AM, at the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Music officiating. Active pallbearers will be Joe, Tommy, Carl, and Justin Leggett, David Miller, and James Turner. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escort. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday from 10-11 AM. Internment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family request because of Covid-19 that if you feel sick to please not attend for the safety of the family and guest.
