Gennie leaves to carry out her legacy: her daughters and sons-in-law, Vivian and Melvin Richardson of Whitakers, NC, Doris and William Taylor of Rocky Mount, NC, Mable and Larry Mann of Whitakers, NC, Kay and Eddie Debroux of Brooklyn, NY and Barbara and Dwight Jordan of Nashville, NC; her sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Cynthia Massenburg of Rocky Mount, NC, Willie and Lenora Massenburg of Whitakers, NC, Calvin Massenburg and his friend, Barbara of Whitakers, NC; two Godchildren, Barbara Jean Wright and her friend, Charles Cooper of Nashville, NC and Charles and Martha Wright of Castalia, NC; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; one beloved sister, Ardean Mills of Nashville, NC; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harry and Vanilla Massenburg; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
