Former Montrose Resident Dies At Coast Home

Montrose, Feb. 24.— Earle Howard Alderman, former resident of Montrose, died at his home in Fresno, Calif., according to work received here. He is the son of Mrs. Ada Alderman and the late I. L. Alderman and husband of Mrs. Rose Basil Alderman.

He was born in Montrose Sept. 9, 1906, and attended grade school and high school there, going to California in 1925, where he was employed as an engineer for an oil company.

Married in 1929, he is survived by his wife and daughter, Dorine, 7. He was a member of the Baptist church.

Mr. Alderman had been ill for three years from a chronic trouble. His mother and one brother returned a month ago from a visit with him, when he seemed better. One brother, W. H. Alderman, was with him at death. Several other members of the family visited him within the last year.

He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: W. H. Alderman, Whittier, Calif.; Mrs. Chester Dodge, Warren Alderman, Mrs. H. D. Newton and Mrs. J. C. Feary, all of Montrose; D. O. Alderman and C. E. Alderman, both of Denver; Mrs. W. T. Shepherd, Arvada; Roscoe Harris, Teluride.

Funeral services are being held Wednesday afternoon at Fresno. Mrs. Ada Alderman and Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Harris left to attend the rites.
