Diane S. Armer, age 67, of Lower Windsor Township, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Born in York on March 5, 1955, she was the daughter of Delores (Paules) Crumling of York and the late Melvin Crumling. She was the loving wife of the late Rickey L. Armer, who preceded her in death on March 6th of this year. Diane was a graduate of Eastern York High School. She worked as a secretary for several businesses in the York area. She loved to garden and work on her pond in her yard at the house she and Rickey built out of an old barn. She also loved to spend time with family at the beach house in Broadkill Beach, DE and at the Armer family cabin the "Rustic Barn" in Sullivan County. Above all, Diane cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her mother, Diane is survived by her sons Jon Witman of Lower Windsor Township and Keith "Fuzz" Witman, and his fiancé Sherry Metzger of Lower Windsor Township, her sister Barb Adelsperger, and her husband James of Delaware, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Tommy Crumling and her sister Deborah Quinn. A memorial service to celebrate both Diane and Rickey will be announced at a later date.
