I believe this is John Jackson Nettles. He married Martha Jane Miller in 1850. I also have that his birthdate is Dec. 18, 1825 in Liberty County, GA. If this is John and not James, then the date on the headstone is incorrect, because he would have been too young to marry in 1850. He was a private in the CSA in Co. A, 24th Battalion, GA Cavalry.
