Mrs. Mary Johnston, 73, of RD 2, Brimfield, died Monday, August 20 in her residence after an illness of 15 years.
She was born in Akron and lived in Brimfield for the last seven years. Mrs. Johnston was a member of the Seven Day Adventist Church in Akron.
She leaves her husband, Sherman; a son, Robert Crummel of Cuyahoga Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Rhea M. Poole of Cuyahoga Falls; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Williams of Akron; plus six grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 in Schermesser Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
