Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Jud Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery-East. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the mortuary.

Donny Deaton was born in Chicago, Illinois and was raised in Abbeville. He served his country in the U. S. Army for seven years. Donny was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was retired from James Elliott Construction Company as a carpenter. Donny was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Beatrice Deaton.
Surviving relatives include his wife, two daughters, two sons, three brothers, ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, and a brother-in-law.
