Levia was the only daughter of Garrett John and Hattie (Jones) TeSelle. She graduated with a BS degree in Home Economics from University of Nebraska in 1960. Levia was a loving wife, dedicated mother and a strong woman. Levia continued to run the "business" as owner of The Train Crossing in Costa Mesa even after her husband Hassan passed. She survived cancer and was cancer free for the last 14 years. Levia was fortunate enough to live in Iran for three years and travel the world. She had a natural talent for painting and arts/crafts. She also like to search for "treasures" at garage sales.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hassan Amirehteshami, in 2006; her parents Garrett John and Hattie (Jones) TeSelle of Bennet, NE; and her daughter Deanna Valerie Amirehteshami who died at the age of 14.
