Francis "Frank" Joseph Capizzo, age 94, of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Francis was born November 14, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Vincent & Rosemary (Santa Paola) Capizzo.
Frank played football for and graduated from St. Charles High School in Detroit. After high School he joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served a year in China. Frank retired after working for 32 years in the HVAC department at the GM Technical Center in Warren. He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, working in his workshop, and playing cards- especially Euchre. He was a kind and gentle man who will be missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Francis will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 4 - 8 pm with a 7pm Rosary service, at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Instate will be Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 9 am until Funeral Mass at 9:30 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
