Adeline June Lacy Boitnott, 86, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on February 3, 2007. She was born June 6, 1920 in Wells County, Bowden, North Dakota. She married Russell Lacy and to this union were born four children. Russell and Adeline farmed and raced thoroughbred horses in North Dakota before relocating to Arizona where they were well known to thoroughbred racing during the 1960's. Adeline retired from Honeywell, Inc. after 17 years of service. She then joined the Golden Girls dance group for women over 60. They performed at many retirement centers through out the valley and in many parades. She is survived by 2 daughters, Carol Lacy, Bonnie Baker (Wayne), 2 sons. James Lacy (Linda) and Timothy Lacy, 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother and father. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 7th at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Rd. in Phoenix. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Park Cemetery, 6290 W. Northern Ave. Phoenix.
