Mary Jane Nelson, 79 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, July 15, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on August the 15th of 1942 in Neosho, Missouri to her parents, William Hector Wilkerson and Bessie Clyde Berner Wilkerson.
On December the 28th of 1963 she took the hand of David Lee Nelson and they were married. Over the next 58 years they built a family and shared in making many wonderful memories together.
Mary Jane is survived by by her loving husband, David Nelson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two children, Krista McDowell and her husband Mark of Dallas, Texas and Bill Nelson and his husband Jason Sirois of New York, New York; one grandson, Sean Lohman of Dallas, Texas; two siblings, Bob Wilkerson and his wife Becky of Springfield, Missouri and Susan McCubbins and her husband Claude of Blue Springs, Missouri; and many friends and extended family.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bessie Wilkerson and one granddaughter, Angel Lohman.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Floral Haven's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
