Larry Allen Anthony, 65, of Mexico, passed away at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday February 8, 2022, at Audrain Community Hospital in Mexico.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pickering Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Lutz officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Friday from Noon until service time at the funeral home.

Larry was born on March 15, 1956, in Kirksville, the son of Lawrence and Jewell (Hilderman) Anthony. On October 31, 1998, in Mexico, he married Nancy Smith who survives.

Larry was currently employed with Missouri Military Academy in the maintenance department. He has worked with MMA for 37 years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, landscaping, and woodworking. He loved spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his wife Nancy, survivors include one son, Justin Anthony (Crystal), of Mexico; two daughters, Regina Smith, of Mexico, and Stephanie Anthony, of the Lake of the Ozarks; one brother, Mike Anthony, of Kirksville; one sister, Juanita Burkhardt (Bill), of Columbia; two grandchildren, Brennan Smith (Danie), of Mexico, and Hunter Woolfolk, of Mexico; three great grandchildren, Jaxson, Emerson, and Aubrie Smith; one uncle, Jim Hilderman (Debbie), of Mexico; one niece, two nephews, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one uncle, Floyd Hilderman.
