Florine Jewel Altman, 95, passed away on August 29, 2005 in Dixon, MO. She was born in Cairo, GA and was a member of Sheppard Baptist Church in Dixon, MO and Russell Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs, FL. Mrs. Altman was the wife of the late I.R. Altman and is survived by her 2 sons: Barney Howard (Lorrie) and Paul W. (Mary) Altman; daughter, Ann McKown; 3 brothers: Edward (Grace) Taylor, Jack (Dessa) McKown and Harold Taylor; sister, Sarah Beaty; 7 grandsons: Wayne, Alan, Anthony, Jay and Steven Altman, Allen and Chris Sauder; a granddaughter, Angel Florine Altman and her fianc, Chris Nason; 12 great grandchildren: Amanda, Cindy, Dustin, Jake, Hannah, Krista and Kendra Altman, Sean, Ashley, Logan, Callie and Abby Sauder. Family will receive friends on Friday 6-8 PM at HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERMEAD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 AM at Russell Baptist Church, 2299 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs with Rev. Ron Baker and Rev. Jim White officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Haven of Rest Heritage Cemetery.
