Andrew Charles Yerex was the son of William Yourex and Jemima Youmans. Thought to have been born c1805 near Kingston, Ontario, possibly Wolfe Island. Andrew's first wife was Mary Sumner. They were married 21 January 1834 in Johnstown, Ontario. In 1837, Andrew married Wealthy Crouse.

Andrew's burial in this cemetery is an educated guess, based on the burial locations of other family members. Some of the original information about the Yerex family was almost indecipherable. Additions and corrections are welcome.

I don't have information about Wealthy Crouse beyond the 1871 census.

Andrew Yerex was an uncle to Nancy Yerex who married my gr. gr. grandfather, John Curtis Post. This might have contributed to John Curtis Post relocating to Westminster where he died at the home of Hiram and Henry Manning and is buried at Fifth Concession Cemetery - that cemetery being another educated guess.
