Wetona (Toni) Watson Edwards 1919 ~ 2009

Wetona (Toni) Watson Edwards, age 90, passed away at home in Hillsborough, California, on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. She was born in St. George, Utah January 23, 1919, the daughter of Daniel Clark Watson and Anna (Nan) Milne Watson. She was the second of four children. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and brother, Leon.

Toni grew up in St. George where she graduated from Dixie High School. She was St. George City Queen in 1936. She worked for United Air Lines in San Francisco and at the Frank Edwards Company in Burlingame. Toni married Robert F. Edwards in Palo Alto, California, in 1942. During part of his military years, they lived in Oklahoma before he served overseas. He died January 12, 1997.

Toni is survived by her four children, Michele Edwards Scott, Tiburon, California; Robert Frank Edwards Jr., Hillsborough, California; Kathryn Edwards Robison, Sandy, Utah; Kerry Edwards, Hillsborough; four grandchildren, Victoria Geller, New York, New York; Trey Edwards, Sandy, Utah; Robert Edwards III, Henderson, Nevada and Michael Edwards, Foster City, California; eight great-grandchildren; sister, LoRen (Loie) Watson Snow, Fresno, California; brother, Dan C. Watson, St. George and sister-in-law, Barbara W. Watson, St, George.
