He was born April 13, 1956, in Clifton Forge, Virginia, the son of the late Gene Edward Chaplin, Sr. and Mary Edna Booze Chaplin.
He was employed with Omni Homestead Resort as a steward for over 40 years. Peewee was very dedicated and a hard worker. He was always willing to help out.
Peewee was eclectic with having many interests to include food, history, music, movies, politics, and trains. Peewee loved to have long discussions on current events. He will be loved and missed forever by family, friends, and coworkers.
Peewee is one of 11 brothers and sisters, whom most have preceded him in death. He is survived by a brother, Gary Chaplin of Covington, Virginia; and a sister, Tammy Chaplin of Covington.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
