Robert Maynard Jr., 82, of Columbia Station, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Robert was born July 18, 1932 in Delbarton, West Virginia. He was a resident of Columbia Station for 50 years. . He was a Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Korean conflict. Robert worked 34 years for Ford Motor Company in the Brookpark plant and retired in 1991.
He loved cars in general and specifically enjoyed the cars manufactured from the 1930's to the 1970's. Robert also enjoyed turkey shoots and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy (nee Vance); one son Gary Maynard (Marie) of Grafton; one daughter Melissa Seibert (Jack) of Columbia Station; four grandchildren, Victoria and Kyle Maynard and Katie and Dustin Seibert.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 5-8pm at Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd. (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Dave Swartz will officiate. Burial will follow at Columbia Township Cemetery.
