Mary Helen Davis – 87
Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton, Georgia. Mrs. Davis was born September 29, 1934, in Cecil, Georgia to the late G.W. and Bethene (Castleberry) Bennett. She was a bookkeeper, who worked for several South Georgia companies including: JC Penney, United Way, Central Truck Lines and Val-Mac Air Conditioning; before her retirement. Mrs. Davis enjoyed gardening but specially loved spending time with her great grandchildren. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church where she was very active in the church, including teaching the Senior Ladies & GA's Sunday School Class. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie R. Davis; brothers-in-law: Wade Jackson, John Leonetti and Huey Manges.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. A private burial will take place in Friendship Cemetery in Hahira, Ga. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
