She married Herbert Luckhurst on the 6th March 1893, at St John the Baptist Church, Folkestone, Kent, and they had 2 children.

The cause of death was influenza and pneumonia. Ada had been recently confined, and both she and her husband were both quite young people. It is a very sad case as orphans are left, and much sympathy is felt for them.
