W. H. Alderdice, Retired Farmer, 84, Dies at Viola
William Henry Alderdice, 84, Viola, died at his home Tuesday. Mr. Alderdice, a retired farmer and nurse, had been a resident of Viola and Milan communities since coming to Kansas 74 years ago.
He was born May 2, 1874, at Delmar, Iowa. He had resided in the Viola community for the past 32 years. He was a member of United Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Olive; a sister, Mrs. Maude Sease, Wellington, Kan.; and two brothers, Harry and John, both of Milan.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at United Presbyterian Church, Viola. The Rev. Ronald Bumstead, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Viola Cemetery. Ebersole Mortuary, Conway Springs, Kan., is in charge of arrangements.
