STEPHEN P. SEGARS
HARTSVILLE — Services for Stephen Preston "'S.P." Segars, 86, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. The Rev. John Hamilton will officiate. Brown- Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home is in charge. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.

Mr. Segars died Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997. Born in Darlington County, he was a son of the late J. Walter and Florence Outlaw Segars, and was married to the late Anna Mae Parnell Segars. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Living Hope Sunday School Class. He was retired from the S.C. Department of Labor.

Surviving are stepson and daughter-in- law, Edward and Mary Parnell of Hartsville; brother, John W. Segars of Okmulgee, Okla.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
