Etta May Coleman, 71, passed away Friday in Hillcrest General Hospital.

Mrs. Coleman was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and had lived in the Grant County area for 25 years where she was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Marie Stinson of Deming, a son, Burnett Van Coleman of Silver City, a sister, Zuella Golden of Zepher, Texas, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 26 in the Curtis-Bright Chapel with Mr. L.L. Russell officiating. Interment followed in Memory Lane Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Pat Humble, Steve Hamm, Bill Smith and Dale Croom. Honorary pallbearer was Don Frink. Serving as pallbearers for the service of Etta May Coleman are corrected to read, Pat Humble, Steve Hanna, Bill Smith and Dale Croom.
